St James's Hospitality

St James's hospitality

There are parish social activities of all sorts and for all tastes, for the benefit of parishioners, organised by various different groups.

The purpose of St James's Hospitality is to work together with these groups to provide a social function for the church, incorporating the parish and the Christian calendar.  There are some events that happen regularly every week, such as the after-church refreshments, called Parish Breakfast.

Other examples are providing meals or refreshments for occasions such as St James's Day celebrations which is usually a BBQ in the vicarage garden with fun and games, (see above right), Harvest Festival lunch and mulled wine with minced pies after the parish Carol Service.
