Welcome to our page for details of church events, ticketing, and fundraising. We'll keep it up to date, so do visit the page on a regular basis to learn about what's going on.
Our All Age Service will be followed by a lunch of cottage pie (veggie or meat) and fruit crumble and custard. If you would like to come please sign the sheet on the notice board. As usual, we will be collecting for The Upper Room which is a charity giving a helping hand to socially and economically disadvantaged adults in SW London.
Please bring your gifts (see list) to the service on Sunday 8 October at 11am (or to church by 15 October). This year we encourage members of the congregation to give to the mainly non-food needs of the charity. Please come prepared to give generously in support of all the charity’s work. Cheques payable to PCC of St James Church and Gift Aid envelopes are in church (please write UPPER ROOM on it).
The past year has been The Upper Room’s busiest ever, serving 150 meals a day. This includes people who are not necessarily homeless but struggling to feed and clothe themselves and churches like us play a vital part.
